CLIC 2017

Learning and reviewing the basis, discovering tips & tricks and mastering the techniques and therapeutic indications are essential to manage complex CLI cases in diabetic patients.
Today, multiple “vascular specialists” are interested in learning and treating this complex disease.  We conceived this event to support all their initiatives.

Our objective in building this course is to create the opportunity to interact, debate and share between experimented and occasional operators, in a very friendly atmosphere. For this 1st CLIC Edition the Course Directors will be the international experts Dr Marco Manzi and Dr Luis Mariano Palena.

Based on a live-cases event model, this course has been set around interactivity : participating discussion and open debate will fully cover all lives cases about decision making, technical strategies and therapies, with the possibility to follow 100% of each case, in a step-by-step way.
The entire vascular community dedicated in CLI, will find this conference as an opportunity to fill in the current gaps in the treatment of patients with Critical Limb Ischemia.

It is our pleasure to announce this first "CLIC" Edition, Critical Limb Ischemia Course focused on Diabetic Foot patients, which will be held in Venice, Italy on March 23rd & 24th 2017, at the amazing "Scuola Grande di S. Giovanni Evangelista", antique monument historically dedicated to Venetian Art. 

This course, held over 2 days, will include didactic and practical flash presentations with 4 associated live cases per day, related to the topics covered during each session.  National and international reknown experts have been invited to join us and share their expertise and philisophy about CLI treatment.

Day 1 will be organized as a technical forum dedicated to technical issues : intraluminal and subintimal wiring, re-entry strategies, wires and accesses. 

Day 2 will focus on therapeutical approaches in different treatment options : DEB, DES, atherectomy, DEB associations... 

We truly hope this conference will meet all of your expectations. The goal of this Critical Limb Ischemia Course is to provide a complete curriculum adapted to the expertise of the international endovascular specialists audience.
