Clinical data

  • 66 years old
  • HTA, Dyslipidemia, Diabetis, Ex-smoker
  • Angina with stress Echo and Scintigraphy: inferior wall ischemia
  • Normal LAD
  • Distal Cx occlusion
  • Dominant mid RCA occlusion wtih collateral from septal

Educational objectives

  • How to deal with a long occlusion and ambiguous proximal cap
  • Use of IVUS in retrograde CTO procedure
  • Use of guiding extension in retrograde CTO procedure
  • Use and interest of long DES Stent in CTO procedure

Audience

  • This live case is dedicated to interventional cardiologists interested and/or specialized in coronary angioplasty.
  • A prerequisite for attendees in an initial knowledge and practice of angioplasty.
